    We stopped at Toby Carvery on High Road, Buckhurst Hill, for a hearty lunch and a coffee, and it turned out to be a satisfying experience.     We go to Toby at Buckhurst Hill quite regularly the service is always good . We decided to go as there was a promotion of % off ...well we were given the meat which didn't even accumulate to one whole slice of meat my husband had what was supposed to be a selection and it was embarrassing not enough to fill a child let alone an adult male. I understand that there was an offer on but for someone that goes regularly will know that you shouldn't get half the meal for half the price . I shan't be returning. Very disappointed

    I’ve been visiting this branch for years and this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review.Our server, named Geo, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Her service was of a much higher standard than we have ever experienced in any of your restaurants and she was incredibly thoughtful.We had ordered starters which arrived while we were choosing our carvery. Geo made sure that our food was covered until our return. The restaurant was pretty warm and we were informed that the air con was being turned on but if it became too cool then she would happily adjust the temperature.Very small acts of kindness but very much appreciated.Geo had a very warm and welcoming presence, she is a fantastic host. I hope to be served by her on all subsequent visits!!!Fantastic and caring lady, thanks so much for your hospitality.

    Really enjoyed my experience at this venue. Best atmosphere of any Toby Carvery I’ve ever been to, our server Michael was fantastic with looking after and keeping me and my family entertained, he’s one in a million with taking great pride in his work. The carver Adrian was also fantastic, whilst waiting to be served I observed him taking great care of the meat by removing all the unwanted bits so all the other customers including myself would get great tasting cuts of meat. There’s absolutely nothing I can fault here and looking forward to my next visit.Parking: Decent size car park for locationKid-friendliness: Server Michael kept my children entertained and was very calm even when a couple of children ran into him unexpectedly at a blind corner and almost knocked food out of his handWheelchair accessibility: There’s disabled parking near the door with plenty of accessible space
